This instrument was on display as a demonstration model at the 2025 Winter NAMM show. It ships in a brown Erica's for lightweight, durable protection. The fretboard, bridge and pegged each showcase ebony that was specially chosen for its rich variegation. The 5-string edition is inspired by a custom Taylor acoustic guitar that Collier has been playing for several years.

And then one day, I asked Taylor, How would you feel about putting a five-string guitar on six-string neck tuned in very strange way, with exactly the same range as normal guitar, but just different set of intervals. They said yes, which changed my whole life. The signature model comes in two different configurations: a 5-string tuned to DAEAD the lower/bass strings are fifths, while the upper/treble fourths and more traditional 6-string strung standard tuning.
