This section discusses some pros and cons that may help you in making your decision to buy, or not buy, this particular guitar model.

Pros:

1. High-Quality Construction: The Taylor 710-CE-L40 is built with top-notch materials, including a solid Sitka Spruce top, Layered Sapele back and sides, and a Venetian cutaway. Its neck is made of Mahogany and features an Ebony fretboard, ensuring durability and great playability.

2. Versatile: As an acoustic-electric guitar, the 710-CE-L40 offers the best of both worlds. It can be played as an acoustic guitar without any amplification or plugged-in as an electric guitar, giving the player versatility in various performance settings.

3. Balanced Tone: The Grand Auditorium body shape of the 710-CE-L40 delivers a well-balanced tone that works for various genres, from folk to rock. It provides a bright and articulate sound with clear highs and rich bass notes.

Cons:

1. Price: The Taylor 710-CE-L40 is on the mid to high-end pricing spectrum. This consideration may be a deterrent for budget-conscious guitar enthusiasts.

2. Lack of Customization: The 710-CE-L40 comes in a standard configuration with no significant customization options. This may not cater to players looking for a more personalized instrument.

However, if you're on a budget or seek extensive customization, other options may better suit your needs.

Recommendation:

For those in the market for a reliable, high-quality acoustic-electric guitar with impressive sound and versatility, the Taylor 710-CE-L40 is highly recommended. If your budget is less accommodating, or if you desire more customization options, consider exploring entry-level or mid-range acoustic-electric guitars from other trusted guitar brands.

Details:

We were friends for decades. This offer is for a Taylor 710-CE-L40. I've attached the spec sheet that Taylor sent me. This is a beautiful sounding and looking guitar.

This is a Taylor Dreadnought Acoustic/Electric that special guitar. I've never even seen one for sale. It has gold colored tuners. Its German Spruce top, the sides and back are COBOL.

This guitar originally sold for $3,388.00. This guitar is GORGEOUS even with the years of wear it has accumulated. You can hear each string when playing chords.

Good luck on the offer. One of my best friends and former band mates recently passed away. The action is low and it plays so easily. Simply beautiful sounding guitar.

It was a Limited run in 2004 for Guitar Center. This guitar plays and sounds amazing. The surround hole and the binding is all decorated in Abalone. I only ship to the lower 48 states.

The fingerboard and bridge are ebony.
