Back and sides are satinwood with a tawny textured finish. I bought it as was finishing up high school and ended not taking with me to college. It has more or less sat in the case under my bed at parents' house for last five years. The XC1T features a discreet fisherman preamps hidden in sound hole with an internal microphone as well pickup which can be blended together.
Strings have been changed once. The XC1T was a limited-run guitar made by Martin for their x series. This guitar may as well be new.
Top wood is solid steak spruce. I just don't have the space for it. This is a really fun guitar that i'm sad to let go. No blemishes, bumps, or anything.
My favorite thing about this guitar is the light finish on top wood which will age really nicely and unique elegant wood en rosette. Electronics have never been used. Fingerboard is solid striped ebony.
