Possesses the power of a dreadnought but with greater tonal balance about the playable range. The electronic performance package is beyond state of the art with the cool tube preamps the first and only tube preamps in an acoustic guitar. Takamine TNV460SC in excellent condition. Some light surface scratch buckle marks on the back, a couple small top of the head stock nicks, a couple small lower bout top nicks, and a small 1/2 scratch near the end pin not through to the wood didn't have enough photo space.
Comes with a deluxe Takamine hard shell case. The TNV460SC next features a solid, hand selected bear claw spruce which creates a rare, naturally occurring pattern. Has been kept properly humidified. A great value at the offered price.
It plays and sounds great. The sound hole and perimeter of the top are inlaid with hundreds of pieces of beautiful abalone shell. Beautiful bear claw spruce, ebony board and Indian rosewood back and sides. The ebony fingerboard is fitted with nickel silver frets, leveled and finished by hand for perfect play ability and intonation.
The back and sides are solid book matched Indian rosewood, chosen for both its appearance and acoustic integrity. New list price on this model was nothing serious, just submitting full disclosure.
Was a great guitar for me, sold it to a friend and now selling it for him. Very nice guitar with a very straight neck. A few minor nicks I tried to photograph.
