The Luther reset the soundboard and repaired the jack by adding a metal plate. There was an unfortunate accident that caused damage, but was expertly repaired. As a bonus, I purchased the soft leather gig bag from Taylor which I will throw in to sweeten the deal. The guitar plays beautifully and I am including a stereo cable as it sounds so much better plugged direct to pa for live application.

Any questions I would be happy to answer. The strap was not secure and it dropped to the floor on it's plug. It had been played so there is minimal fret wear and some minor marks throughout body.

His thoughts were that this design was a definite weak point considering how much pressure the jack gets plugging and unplugging as much as one does. This Taylor t5 s2 is a fine instrument.
