The Breedlove SC25-R acoustic guitar case by Henderson is a popular choice among musicians for its durability and protection. In this analysis, we will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of buying this guitar case.
Pros:1. Excellent Protection: The SC25-R case offers superior protection with its high-impact ABS plastic exterior and suspension system. The suspension system evenly distributes weight and absorbs shock, making it ideal for travels and gigs.
2. Lightweight: The case weighs around 7.3 lbs, making it reasonably lightweight for a hardshell case of this size. This weight advantage enables easy carrying and enhances overall portability.
3. Versatile: The interior is designed to fit Breedlove models with a standard body size, and its plush lining provides enough space and padding to accommodate an electronic pickup system, offering convenience for performers.
Cons:1. Limited Compartment Space: The SC25-R may not provide ample space for additional accessories such as tuners, spare strings, and capos. It is designed primarily to house the guitar, not to serve as an gear storage.
2. Price: Compared to smaller, more affordable cases, the SC25-R can be considered pricier due to its high-end features and construction materials. This may not be ideal for musicians working on a tight budget.
3. Bulky: Despite being moderately lightweight, the compact size of some gig bags may make them a more practical choice for frequent travelers who need to carry multiple items simultaneously. The SC25-R is a bit bulkier than some other cases on the market.
Conclusion:The Breedlove SC25-R acoustic guitar case by Henderson comes with several benefits, including superior protection, moderate portability, and versatility. However, it has drawbacks such as limited compartment space, relatively high price, and bulkiness. Based on these factors, this case would be most suitable for those who prioritize maximum protection for their guitars and are willing to pay a premium for such features. Overall, if a musician does not require extra storage space and has a budget for a high-quality, professional-grade case, the Breedlove SC25-R by Henderson is an excellent investment.
Recommendation:If a musician values excellent protection for their Breedlove guitar and is willing to pay for it, the SC25-R by Henderson is undoubtedly a smart choice. However, musicians who need ample storage space, are budget-conscious, or prefer a more portable case may want to consider other options in the market. A Breedlove guitar's size and shape may also play a role in selecting the best case to fit their needs.
Its been like this for quite awhile so who knows if it'll ever get worse. The guitar has a steak spruce top and rosewood back sides. This is a Steve henderson signed era instrument, meaning its one of the earlier guitars, and my best guess that it was made around 2000 based on serial number. One the top side of guitar, there are 2 very small finish blemishes where only has chipped away wood itself is completely fine and untouched see last pic.
But it does use a 9 volt battery. I purchased this guitar in 2006 and it has been my main acoustic ever since.
The case is also in good condition. I am selling my Breedlove SC25 r acoustic guitar with original case. For a guitar that has been used quite bit, its in above average shape with only couple blemishes to note.
So they tend to be in above average condition, as evidenced by the tremendous shine and glare you'll see all of pics. I wouldn't say that its separated at the moment but you can feel just slightest evidence of it possibly starting. Also, I will point out that on the back of guitar theres slightest look and feel a bit finish separation see second to last pic along top rim.
Shipping is to the continental us only at a flat rate of I am an amateur songwriter and have written countless songs on this instrument so it has treated me very well over years. The guitar has a fisherman matrix pickup installed that does not have any knobs, etc. I treat my instruments like gold and always polish them, them as well possible, etc.
