Action is low all the way down neck and its a joy to finger pick. Its an amazing guitar and plays sounds really good. This particular Guild is 25 years old and in quite good condition. Its slim mahogany body makes it perfect for songwriting, on-stage live performance or just sitting on the sofa and practicing.
The body is made from one piece of solid routed mahogany and top x-braced spruce. The Songbird has been used by Eric Clapton, Barry Gibbs, Paul Simon and so many others. Check the photos, other than this, guitar is very clean.
I have set this guitar up to play very well. Although it is firmly attached, done a bit messy with excess dried glue on some of the areas side. For sale: 1992 Guild S4CE-NT Songbird acoustic electric cutaway w hard case the is delightful guitar to have around. It is in original condition.
