Almost no wear on it at all. This left handed model was made for display at guitar shows, only played a few times, and was finally purchased in 2006 by a collector who stored it away in a nice, cool, safe place. This guitar was made in 1998 by famed Luther, r.

I can provide a copy of Richard Allen's hand written log book to show the date it was sold originally. He got his body molds from greats in the 1970s, and started making press molded maple archtop guitars in the 1990.

He was a contemporary of Leo fender, George Fullerton, Semite Moseley and Paul busby. Allen made instruments for Merle Travis, Joe Mathis and hank Thompson.
