For me, it's been my instrument of choice for boss nova accompaniment, and it works great for jazz hoardings. This guitar has been taken care of, there are no significant scratches, dings or chips in the finish, it does show light signs of wear. This is a rare Rainsong WS9000 that has been out of production for quite awhile and seldom comes up for sale.
String spacing and setup on this guitar make it ideal for finger picking and flat picking. The body is the same size and shape of Rainsong steel strings deep, resonant and responsive. This is not just a steel string carbon fiber guitar with a different bridge for nylon strings with the ws90 Rainsong completely re designed its patented projection tuned layering soundboard to specifically address the needs and qualities of nylon strings.
It is a nylon stringed acoustic electric guitar that was designed specifically for steel string players who want to explore the options of a nylon string guitar. However, the nylon strings and design changes produce a warm sound that works on a range of musical styles. The large, deep body, combined with projection tuned layering gives the WS9000 presence, punch and volume.
This is a pretty unique instrument, i'm only selling as part of an effort to reduce my instrument collection in advance of a move. A hard Rainsong case is included. The WS9000 was designed to make it as easy as possible for a steel string player to transition to this instrument.
