He has built guitars for many years since 1969 to be exact, including pieces well-known folks like David Lindsey former player kaleidoscope, Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, etc. Bridge is one-of-a-kind and bird-shaped. Soundboard is a quarter-swan, close-grained redwood. Scale length is and the neck joins body at 12th fret.

Fret board is made of ebony with.

Its most likely from the late 1950s or early 1960s. Back and sides are made of brazilian rosewood the gold standard. Tuning machines are gold Grover's only the best. It also has a polyester resin finish on the inside of guitar, but is flat instead glossy.

Neck is a hard rock maple aka sugar and much harder denser than western. It needs to be run through a preamps no batteries worry about. I have way too much stuff and will gladly combine shipping. This guitar has been Johns go-to since 1989 and played aggressively.

John used to run it through a pod and then connect Peary kb100 get the sound that he wanted. Pick guard is made of imitation tortoise shell. 067 nickel frets and custom mother of pearl inlays was also used for the inlay on head stock nameplate. The neck joins body at 12th fret.

Guitar finish is a polyester resin very durable and waterproof. See condition and photos for further details. Pickup is a very early 1960s or 1970s soundboard transducer.
