This is a serious instrument, for the discriminating player. This is a pre owned guitar and there are signs of use. The soft cutaway allows access to the upper registers, but doesn't look out of place or too rock and roll. Features mahogany top scalloped steak spruce bracing mahogany back and sides herringbone rosette style 18 piffling profile neck carve bone needfully w48 brass tuners with ebony buttons 25.
Some very minor worming behind the bridge, barely noticeable to the naked eye, shown in pics. This guitar sounds absolutely huge, with a gorgeous wood say bottom end, and sparkling highs. The mid range is big and throaty, with lots of volume and projection, and yet the tone has a wonderful balance that Martin is known for. This Martin 12s is equipped with a fishman ellipse blender system, that does a perfect job of reproducing the nuanced tones that this guitar is capable of.
