I picked this one for its outstanding tight grained Angelina spruce top and gorgeous beautifully book-matched Rosewood back sides. All the Original case candy including a sound hole mute and original poly foam form fitted is included, shoulder straps are in front pouch/pocket. Yamaha is very well known for their excellent sound technology. I will even ship it in its original factory box.

Indeed the smooth gloss tobacco brown sunburst exudes boutique quality, but if its not to your taste, guitar is available in three other finishes. This guitar incorporates a 3-band EQ, gain control and tuner in the side mounted preamps. A traditional width neck with a smooth satin finish feels very manageable, round 'C' profile. Will need to install a 9 volt battery upon receipt.

The curvaceous dreadnought which Yamaha refers to as a 'jumbo' marries an Angelina spruce top with laminate rosewood back and sides, edged vintage-looking cream binding that also appears along the dark ebony fret board, head stock heel. I am a Luther by trade, and had my choice of 6 instruments received. Unlike cutaways, theres not as large a selection of non-cutaway electors and, attracted to the style, we wondered if could get high quality guitar this type without going into four figures. Rich tones and a boutique, old-school Gibson-is vibe all at very reasonable price.

Excellent amplified signal as well. I sound tested all 6 guitars, and this one had the best warmth projection.
