Vintage SMECK 10965103 Electric Guitar with Gibson Royll worth Upgrade - 2015 Deluxe Edition

Introducing the Vintage SMECK 10965103 electric guitar, a remarkable blend of traditional design and modern aesthetics, perfectly complemented by a Gibson ROYALPICKUP upgrade for enhanced tonal clarity and output. This 2015 Deluxe Edition brings an exquisite playing experience to the discerning musician.

Crafted with obsession-worthy attention to detail, the SMECK 10965103 boasts a solid mahogany body, a set mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fretboard, and a 12-inch radius. The black pearloid body binding, as well as the body, neck, and headstock purfling, infuse a sense of class and sophistication into this instrument s appearance.

Employing a set mahogany neck with a 24.75-inch scale length, this electric guitar permits comfortable playability, allowing even the most intricate solos and intricate chord voicings to be executed with ease. The rosewood fretboard, adorned with 22 medium jumbo frets, is a rejoice to the touch, enabling accurate and expressive tone production.

One of the most significant upgrades gracing this Vintage SMECK 10965103 is the Gibson ROYALPICKUPs. These humbuckers, expertly installed at the bridge and neck positions, render unmistakable warmth, richness, and definition to the dynamic tone palette, providing a striking balance between low end punch and crisp highs.

Additionally, this guitar encompasses several desirable features, including a Gibson Tune-o-matic bridge, a stopbar tailpiece, dot inlays, chrome hardware, and sealed staggered tuning machines. Moreover, the body and neck carry a beautiful satin finish, allowing the natural dynamics and edge-rolling of the wood to come through, thus exposing the intricate personality held within each piece of wood.

The 2015 Deluxe Edition Vintage SMECK 10965103 electric guitar merges beloved classic design with state-of-the-art upgrades. This instrument is destined to captivate those who cherish the nostalgia of traditional guitar designs and crave the cutting-edge sonic capabilities provided by the Gibson ROYALPICKUPs. Few electric guitars offer such a unique fusion of history, design, and innovation, making this one a truly irresistible option for electric aficionados.

The Semeck 10965103 Vintage Guitar and the Gibson Roy Attribute:15 Deluxe are both excellent options for guitarists looking for high-quality instruments. Let's examine the pros and cons of each to help you make an informed decision.

Semeck 10965103 Vintage Guitar: Pros:

1. Affordable price: Compared to a new Gibson, the Semeck Vintage Guitar is significantly more affordable.

2. Authentic vintage look and feel: The Semeck guitar has a classic body shape, vintage tuning keys, and a distressed finish, giving it an authentic vintage appearance.

3. Good build quality: The Semeck guitar features a solid top, laminated back and sides, and a C-shaped neck, making it a well-built instrument.

4. Playability: The guitar features a smooth fretboard, low action, and good intonation, making it easy to play.

5. Versatile: The Semeck guitar can handle various playing styles and genres, from folk to rock.

Cons:

1. Finish: The distressed finish might not be everyone's cup of tea. Some may prefer a more pristine look.

2. Tone: While the Semeck guitar has a decent tone, it might not match the rich and resonant tone of a Gibson or other premium instruments.

3. Durability: The laminated back and sides may not last as long as a solid wood back and sides.

Gibson Roy Sager Deluxe: Pros:

1. Premium build quality: Gibson is known for its high-quality craftsmanship, and the Roy Sager Deluxe is no exception. The guitar features a solid mahogany body and neck, premium hardware, and a beautiful finish.

2. Rich tone: The Roy Sager Deluxe offers a rich, resonant tone that is hard to match. Its mahogany body and solid maple top contribute to its superior sound.

3. Great build options: Gibson offers a variety of customization options, such as different wood types, finishes, and pickups, allowing guitarists to create a unique instrument that suits their preferences.

4. Playability: The Gibson guitar has a comfortable neck profile, low action, and excellent intonation, making it easy to play.

5. Investment potential: A Gibson guitar is an investment that can hold its value over time and potentially appreciate in value.

Cons:

1. Expensive: The Gibson Roy Sager Deluxe is a premium instrument, with a higher price tag than the Semeck Vintage Guitar.

2. More maintenance required: The solid wood construction requires more maintenance than a laminated guitar, as it is more susceptible to changes in climate and humidity.

3. Heavier: The solid wood body and neck make the Gibson guitar heavier than the Semeck vintage guitar.

In conclusion, both the Semeck 10965103 Vintage Guitar and the Gibson Roy Sager Deluxe are excellent options for guitarists. If you're looking for an authentic vintage look and feel with good build quality and playability at a more affordable price, the Semeck Vintage Guitar might be the right choice for you. However, if you're willing to invest in a premium instrument with superior tone and build quality, the Gibson Roy Sager Deluxe is an excellent option. Ultimately, the decision comes down to your budget, preferences, and priorities as a guitarist.

Recommendation: If you're on a budget and looking for an authentic vintage-style guitar, the Semeck 10965103 Vintage Guitar is a great option. If you're willing to invest in a premium instrument with exceptional tone and build quality, I would recommend the Gibson Roy Sager Deluxe.

Details:

The standard electronics on the stage deluxe are the Lr bags lyric pickups. This guitar is not only a cannon but the sound is nicely balanced and resonant. Acoustical it has a deep rumbling low end that offers a great rhythm beat and a jangling high end that sustains forever. The stage deluxe is based on the legendary roy smeck 12 fret model that Gibson produced in the 1930s.

Roy smeck 12 fret reissue awesome big sound guitar with easy playing 12 fret 24. Better wood selection, better electronics, and better nut saddle set up, than any of the new ones or used ones out there guaranteed.

But I think this is as vintage sounding as any new guitar can get. This is a rare opportunity to buy an extraordinary instrument at a very good price. I'm thinking 3,000 I am in a tough spot inch short scale. There has been a lot written about this model guitar.

Any flat picker will immediately love the easy play ability and the awesome projection. Delivers big sound with a light touch of the fingers.

These are now priced out of sight in the tens of thousands and I will tell you honestly that nothing can compare sound wise with those old smeck model's. The top and the scalloped bracing are made of Adirondack spruce which is the premium wood for volume and wonderful tone.

I can no longer play an acoustic guitar not even nylon strings. Its exactly same as Jackson Browne signature model except this has rosewood back and sides Jackson Browne's model is in walnut. In pristine barely played condition.

I may be able to play electric guitars but that is it. Reviewers have called it the Steinway of acoustic guitars.

Across the scale and up and down the neck all notes stand out as really harmonic and pleasing. I will consider serious offers or a really nice high end electric in trade. 8 neck, this is an absolutely perfect finger guitar.

Like a Les Paul hollow body supreme or Pr's hollow body ii. If you want volume and beautiful wood y sound, this is it. So let's sell this thing OK. Thank the sweet lord everyday for your fingers and hands.

The sound is just spectacular really. There is 3,600 invested in this guitar.
