Overall, this guitar is in excellent condition.
The rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape, and frets still have a great deal of life left them. The neck is straight and true tuners function properly.
This D-25E has a well-balanced, vibrant tone with good bass response and bright, yet smooth highs that create terrific projection courtesy of the arched back design. The electronics work perfectly. There are no cracks, significant dings or dents on the body top, and is only minimal surface wear evident, especially considering that guitar nearly 40 years old.
Rare 1979 Guild D-25E blk acoustic-electric. I have played this guitar for 30 years and taken excellent care of it, always storing it in its original plush, arched top, hard shell case which also is condition. When plugged into an amp, this guitar retains the warm, yet powerful, well-balanced sound that vintage Guild acoustic-electric is prized for.
