There are no fret grooves at all, just the most minimal signs of use. I am open to all reasonable offers. The neck has a volute at head stock and frets finish are in incredible condition. They are not obvious and barely visible without close sideways inspection.
The wood hard shell case shows its age but is still in very strong condition. This guitar looks surprisingly clean for age, if unfamiliar with the model do a little research, theres not ton of info listed but enough to get an idea what they were back in 92. If you are familiar with the model, this one is very, very clean. Beautiful vintage 1992 Washburn D-17 ces wr acoustic electric w hard case.
The fret board is in excellent condition. A closet classic. But unfortunately the contour knob has broken off.
There is one small chip at the rear of head stock tip, just finish, not wood. Visible in the pics. It has equips ii electronics with XLR that function without issue, no scratchy sliders or pots. The clear coat swirls visible in pics are very exaggerated by flash.
Visible in pic. It still functions, just harder to grab. Original, excellent wine red finish, exceptional condo. It has individual saddles in the bridge.
The neck is straight, frets are finished very nice, zero sharp tangs etc. Some people have said replace it with a full bone saddle but I haven't bothered. Normal signs of use but still strong. The action at 12th fret low e is 5 64ths.
I just set it at 5 and forget. No functional issues, just has a some Rolex scuffs and scratches missing areas along the bottom edges. Only very few small dimples in the finish, visible from a side angle view but insignificant.
