It's in the area of picture number 6 none of it is through the clear and into any part of the wood. Martin 16 model's also have a mortise tenon neck joint. So god forbid you should ever need a neck reset, it makes it a snap cheap easy, especially if you're planning on keeping it 20 years. This thing is a cannon.

I honestly believe someone who knew what they were doing could buff it out, but unfortunately i'm not that guy. No cracks and no dings, just some slight buckle rash that won't photograph no matter how many angles I attempt at it.
