The bowl also had some damage. Both the top and bowl are in stable condition now, damage incurred does not develop further. Made in USA 1999. Comes with its original Ovation hard shell case.

The preamps, pickup and electronics work well, except the tuner function, which only works sporadically. There is a crack in the top that has been repaired. Ovation CE778 Custom Elite acoustic-electric guitar in Black Cherry Burst finish. The neck and the frets are in very good condition.
