Details:
Appointments include a KIA sound hole rosette, full gloss finish, and chrome tuners. It has spent most of its life in my climate controlled home studio. And can't take it with me, or I wouldn't be selling. The only modification that i've made is to replace rosewood truss rod cover with a custom one Celtic knot inlay, also rosewood, by an artist from Argentina.
The neck is mahogany while fingerboard and bridge are ebony. Heres the specs from elderly instruments ad when I bought it: Taylor 555CE 12 string has a solid steak spruce top with tropical American mahogany back and sides. The head stock and body binding are Indian rosewood.
I only mention it because don't want any surprises. More pictures of these extras tomorrow. It can't be seen unless is held at the right angle to light, and doesn't go all way through wood. This would make a great Christmas present for the Taylor enthusiast, especially with extras.
Opt for free pickup with bin, and i'll knock 100 off the bin price. Up for offer is my 2006 Taylor 555CE jumbo acoustic electric 12-string guitar with original hard shell case, featuring the expression system 1 balanced pickup. There is one small area on the back lower bout that has a few pock marks in finish only.
This model also has a Venetian cutaway and Taylor's expression pickup system. This guitar has never been gigged and is in great condition, no dings or scratches that I can find. Free pickup in the Memphis, tn area.
The case has rarely been used, so it is in great condition also.
