The head stock has a unique Excellente dove wing profile, the only one of its kind, and features Epiphone logo in Mother Pearl with white binding. The Maple neck has a Walnut and stripe is hand-set with tapered dovetail joint at the 14th fret. The actual item for sale is shown in the photographs.

The techs found no issues and it has little to play wear. The Masterbilt Excellente debuted in 1963 and with only 139 made between 1969, is perhaps modern Epiphone most rare guitar. Jack White also used Loretta's Excellente in the making of her GRAMMY winning album, Van Lear Rose.

The top is set off with a beautiful recreation of the original Excellente pick guard. The Excellente is made from all-solid-wood construction and features a Solid Steak Spruce top with black white binding Evangelic back sides.
