Features:

Construction: The Tennessee 6119 Falcon II is a hollow body electric guitar, designed to produce rich and resonant tone while maintaining a lightweight build. The set neck is also crafted from solid maple and has a bound, 12-inch radius, rosewood fingerboard, which interfaces seamlessly with the 22 medium jumbo frets, accommodating effortless playing and bending.

Hardware: This Gretsch masterpiece consists of a Bigsby swinging vibrato tailpiece, which enables virtuosic string bending, pitch control, and harmonics. Moreover, the rear-mounted controls, including the master volume and three-way pickup selector switch, format easy access while retaining a sleek profile. The tune-o-matic bridge and STB-1 tremolo arm further contribute to the guitar's stability and enhanced intonation.

Electronics: The 1998 Tennessee 6119 Falcon II is fitted with aCustom Billdinned Filtertron humbucker in the neck position and a DynaSonic single-coil pickup in the bridge position. These pickups are skillfully designed to provide a striking contrast between warm, thick humbucker tones and bright, articulate single-coil output. Additionally, they let you explore various soundscapes with their distinct voice and tweak your tone using the tone control knobs.

Accessories: The guitar comes equipped with an Original Hard Shell Case (OHSC), which shields the guitar from potential damages, making it perfect for transport or storage. This classic, custom-designed case carries on the heritage and resembles cases of yesteryear, all while offering the highest standards of protection for your prized instrument.

Overall, the Gretsch 1998 Tennessee 6119 Falcon II Hollow Body Electric Guitar is a highly desirable and versatile guitar, ideal for various music styles, from rock, blues, country to jazz. Its exceptional build, classic looks, and captivating tone make it a must-have instrument for guitar enthusiasts and collectors.

I purchased the guitar earlier this year in used condition. The guitar has been up with a low action for fast playing. It handles wonderfully.

I regretted the guitar because didn't care for factory frets - they felt too wimpy it has a 12 inch-radius, ebony fingerboard with 22 brand new medium jumbo and striking pearled Neo-classic thumbnail inlays tops maple neck comfortably familiar standard u shaped profile fluidly easy playing. Serial number: manufactured in Feb of full disclosure - I personally did all the restoration work on this guitar. The control complement is original to guitar - separate bridge and neck volume controls, three-way pickup switching, no load tone master allows for endless tonal variations. I'm a Luther and gold-certified stringed instrument technician for fender musical instruments.

G arrow' control knobs some that were missing have been replaced with brand new stock, f holes thru not painted on gloss urethane finish and silver vintage thick plexus pick guard Gretsch logo. This is without a doubt, the cleanest 1998 model i've ever seen - its original finish gorgeous not single ding on it. Anyway, the blemish is gone forever so on with. There was no damage but it had a blemish in the head stock finish which I fixed.

A brand new pair of high sensitive filter tron humbugging pickups provide pristine end, glassy mid range, robust low end and balanced harmonics for tone that blends seamlessly with other instruments.
